I don't know what level you play to but have you ever played in tournaments? Or do you feel its a bit beyond you at present?

I have never played in a tornament. There are none near me and I am not one to go traveling to attend one. The concept interests me but I am afraid that once I got in a tornament then I would find out that I am nowhere as good as I thought I was.

I think that tournements can be very good if you know what you are doing, but are not so good for people just learning the game, where they can risk a lot of money quickly.

I have never played in tournaments but had watched it a lot. I think they need really a lot of practise to participate and ofcourse to win.

I consider tournaments are really beyond me at the moment. But who knows, in the future maybe. At the moment, I play poker just for fun.

Well I've never played in any professional tournaments, but I've played many tournaments online.

I think the best finish I had was finishing 1st of about 750 or so, it was a $35 buy in.

I am more of a person who enjoys watching tournies right now. My husband is a different story...he will play tournies online or whatever goes. He is a poker fanatic (so is his whole family) and they are all really good at it.

I have played ina few tournaments and all with different outcomes. I have never won one though but have been near a couple of times. I like quick games better than long tournaments.

I have played in maybe three or four of them so far. Well, not counting the ones against my friends and people I meet. But official ones, yes three or four. I have done quite well and have won it all on one of them.

I havent got the confidence to play in them but i think i will once i get more confidence!
