Soccer - Enjoyment of playing or Strategy
I understand winning is the most important part of any game but while watching the game over the years it seems these days coaches spend more time on strategy (which I again say is very important), but in the process the beauty of the game seems to be compromised at some level. This is my view only, I would like to get your views also.

I think players and coaches are now very good in their field. They must have the latest strategies to win the game. Maybe that’s the reason why soccer takes a longer time to take a score. But I do still love this sport.

I think that spending time on strategy is really important nowadays as the opponents are more sharper in guessing your strategies....so focussing on it is not bad either.

Yes, focusing on strategy is really important. Regarding the beautification of the game I feel the governing body did took some steps so that more goals are scored in a match.

In soccer it takes way more time to score a goal than in most other sports - that's by default. I believe strategy is really important and sometimes it's fun to watch the different strategies, but soccer is not a sport I enjoy much. I would like it better if the pace were faster.

I love soccer, both playing and watching. The score of the game may not be high but there’s a lot of action and strategy involved.
