Yes, a few years ago I subscribed to them but it was a bit of a disaster. I did not make anywhere near the money that they projected.

And if you consider that you will have to put on £200 on each selection I don't think many people would be able to do it consisently unless they were winning on 70 or 80% of their bets.

I only used £10 stakes during my trial but was not convinced during this period which I think was about a year.

There are much better free methods you can use. i.e The Retirement Staking plan is a good plan to use if you can pick three or four winners out of sixteen bets.

Bigbusiness has a spectacular aura about
Found this link to The Retirement Staking Plan:-

I still don't like betting on horses. The races seem too easy to fix and I don't trust anything with 4 legs or the small people who ride them

I subscribed years ago too..... then the guy got sent to prison and used to record his daily messages from prison!!! (always sounded like an episode of Porridge in the background)

.... think the Prison Authority put a stop to this after a short time

I tend to hear mental alarm-bells ringing when I read of staking plans that involve increasing the stakes (even gently at first) during a losing run. Many people say that if you can't make a profit at level stakes, you can't make a profit at all. I'm not quite as pessimistic as this, but I believe it's certainly true for systems with low strike-rates. The point is that with any system you _will_ eventually have a longer losing run than the system has previously had, and working out the probabilities of such long losing runs realistically is essential before you start. (This subject is well covered in Mason Malmuth's "Gambling Theory And Other Topics" and Van K Tharp's "Trade Your Way To Financial Freedom".) I believe that Isiris have had a strike-rate in excess of 40% (and at pretty good average odds) for each of the last 12 or more years, and that this has been independently monitored by the Racing Information Database. I'm not sure if backing all Isiris's "account bet" selections at £10 will produce enough to cover the cost of the service, though. At the moment I think the subscription's £1,950 for the rest of 2004 and all of 2005.

To be a winner is not about following what other people say blindly but about proving them wrong.

If you look back in history you will find that many winners are the one's who stuck their neck out and stood against fierce critisism and ridicule.

Why am I saying this?

I am standing against the crowd being ridiculed and find myself winning.

That's all that matters to me!

Have a look at this website - www.horseracinginformation.co.uk - it shows the results for most ot the well known tipsters over the past few years. All the results of the tipsters have to be registered with the racing information database, so they are all verifiable. Isaris have a pretty good reputation but I found them hard to use because you have to make a phone call to get the bet, at a very precise time - not always easy when you are working. I missed a few winning bets because of that and I didn't resubscribe. Am doing Henry Rix now - easier to keep up with the bets and am a couple of thousand up on the year. Might try Race Call next year, as shown on this website, as they seem to have a better record.

Would agree with snoopyharr. The service's main account bets do well but you only have a 4 minute window to place the bet so if you are working you're generally knackered during the week.N And the insider bets are a waste of time - I think they just throw darts at the Racing Post and see what comes up.

The bloke who runs the service thinks he's God almighty as well and he quickly forgets losing runs and loves boasting about how wealthy he is making you! Not! Trust me!

He has also, as was mentioned above, spent time in prison for sexually assaulting an au-pair. Take a look at this article about the incident at http://www.thisisbradford.co.uk/brad...ews05.int.html

Yes, he does think he's beyond question. When I emailed him that it was impossible to get the odds he quoted, he said that sometimes we got better odds than him, and that compensated. Not when he quotes 20-1 and you only get 10-1. I kept a record of the difference between my winnings and his based on the difference in the odds I got, and I was nearly £4000 less than his record showed for the year. He just wouldn't accept it though! I'm glad I'm not the only one who got fed up with hearing how much money we were winning, when all we were doing was making up the previous months losses!
