Keep Beat

I am full of annoying tactics to beat my opponents. This method I sometimes use involves simply tapping my finger on the edge of the table over and over again to a steady beat. Then after I have done it long enough and loud enough, I intentionally change it up, mess it up, and resume getting back to beat. The other players begin to notice my timing and can predict it, and then as I get them drawn in I change it up and resume again. It simply distracts them a little and gets them slightly of of their game.

That would totally mess me up, one of my buddies used to scratch the edge of his cards against the fabric of the table in a consistent beat. It bugged me so bad that I eventually stooped playing with him

I can see how that would work. That would drive me nuts. I have a friend that likes to hum to mess people up.

My husband does this kind of sounds and I really feel not just distracted but I get a feeling with the sounds and expression that I am to lose the game. It surely is a tactic to distract opponent.
