Do you hussle
I do not think this is something that is good to do but has anyone here ever acted as if they were not so good at poker just to trick the other players to win some money?

Yea that is sort of like a bluff. Just give the appearance as if you are confident with your game. Just do not go out of your way and seem overly cocky.

I think that there is nothing wrong with it. If you are playing against good players they will be able to catch it right away, but with players that are just learning you would be able to make some money quickly in the game.

It is very important to judge with whom you are playing. As attagirl correcly said experienced players will catch you soon enough but you have some chance with learners.

I have across many people who have done that, I mean whats wrong with it is my question. Regardless to what you may say about how bad or good you are, if you can play you can play and if I can play I can play. And if I'm going to bet you then thats how I'm going to play. Just because you say that you aren't that good doesn't mean that I'm going to shorten or lessen my skill to cut you some slack.

A lot of people do that quite often. I don't usually do that, but no poker game can be won without bluffing.

My boyfriend told me that a lot of people do this, and I even saw people on online poker games doing that. I can see how it would work in your favor.

Every time strangers ask me to join in a table, I always act like "Who Me? i can't play too well." I love to act all terrible and innocent. Sometimes I even lose the first two hands to keep the act going. Then as soon as I their is big money on the table I pull out my game and wipe them out over and over again.
