All posted tips are very good ones, that should be considered at any stage of playing poker. These are common mistakes made by new players and maybe we should combine them and post them in a place all their own.

wow...Playing Poker for 10 years?!!! Great and the tip you shared is definetely true. Many players prefer to stay in game to make money even they have bad cards...(even i used to do it). So bad cards....means stay away.

Yes but being active in a forum lik Betcamp.com you learn something new almots everyday. At least you can improve some even if you do not go from newbie to pro in a second.

Playing very tight is always right, especially if you are new at the game. Do some homework and come up with the top 15 hands you will play. Always raise before the flop with these hands. Good Luck!
