50-50 is what i believe. Luck should favour you in the game of poker even if you have skill and vice versa.

There can be some luck to it depending on what cards you are dealt. But either way you have to have some skills and make the best of every hand.

I really think it's more luck than skill. And the margin is even bigger if you play different kinds of poker. You may be a professional but if your hand is only a 2 and a 3, you have a very little chance to win.

I think that it has everything to do with skill too (especially the bluff skill,

Both, I believe. The luck being the cards you are dealt, but the skill being how you bluff the cards you are dealt.

There is no question that luck is involved in the game of poker, however it definitely takes skill.
Someone who has 4-5 days of experience can beat a player with 4-5 years of experience, however the more they play the more the player with 4-5 years of experience will dominate. What I'm saying is the better (more skilled) player will eventually win in the long run. So poker is both a game of chance and skill. A amateur probably has more luck in his game then a pro. |

Lady luck is going to come into play in what ever game you play. In the long run a good player is going to win. In the short run anything can happen.

There is no such thing as luck, there is just skill. If you have a good hand you win if you do not let others bluff you. If you have a bad hand you lose unless you can bluff. If you need a card to come up and you get it, it is because there are only so many cards in a deck. It is all statistics. No luck
