When you bluff do you do it with good hands that don't hit or do you play garbage? Sometime I play garbage but bluff too if I have a good hand that just didn't hit. However I know a bunch of people in my home games that are constantly playing with garbage and throwing around bluffs, Ive even seen a few of them take hands down and then show there garbage.

Deciding tu bluff is not an easy decision in my opinion. I try to always have a quite good hand when doing this but of course now and then I do play garbage. Sometimes your lucky and sometimes you are not.

Agreed that deciding to bluff is not an easy decision.I think is a good decision to bluff even if you play garbage when you know your opponent has a week hand but he is better that you (something like that : you have nothing and he has a small pair).

I think its good to show other players early on that you are a bluffer - then when you have a good hand - and they think you could be bluffing again - you can raise the pot high

You need to be irregular, to make sure that everyone cannot grasp your technique; easier said then done, but it still means that you should bluff randomly here and there.

This can only be done with experience. Bluffing with care can help. But as Slashmire said you need to be irregular and I think it should not go into a definite pattern.

Yes that is a good strategy in my opinion but it does not always work. If you play with professional players all are probably thinking like this or have some similar strategy and does not fall for it.

I agree with andrew. For professionals I think they are seasoned enough to be fall into any kind of trap. They only give full concentration on the game and nothing else.

when I blufff I really think that some people can guess me over the sequence its the problem with most of the people I think that they actually cannot play a clean bluff and get caught

I hardly ever bluff when I have garbage in my hand. Sometimes however I will bluff and downplay my hand as if I do not have a very good hand. That way I can lure more chips into the stack and have a greater win.
