When I began playing, me and my friends use to play just for laughs. Whoever lost the hand had to chug a glass of soda pop. While you actually win nothing, it is amusing to watch your friends feel sicker and sicker as the night goes on and they get full.

Just by a few 2 liters and get playing. After time you will get better and be able to play form some real money!

It is surely good bet for drinks rather than real money. It seems to look like enjoying the company of friends and just freak out and even play for fun.

The company of friends is really what makes the moment all so special. You get to learn to play to get a friendly competition going and have some fun. Watching your friends feel sick with too much soda is priceless .

I think I should get some people together again this weekend for old times sake.

Ha for a second there I thought you were talking about alcohol and I am glad it was soda that all of you were talking of. That sounds like a lot of fun.

Oh I never really meant alcohol with mentioning of drinks. There surely are many other drinks apart from alcohol.....soda can be one of the drinks. After seeing you message fiona it really made me feel that my message might seem to look so but that isn't alcohol involved.

I think that as long as you are not playing with real money playing for drinks of alcohol would be fun. This sounds like something I would have done when I was in highschool myself.

I never played with alcohol. I am straight edge. All joking aside though, I just arranged for a game for drinks with 10 of my closest friends. We are playing tonight. I can not wait to beat them badly again just like the old times.

This sounds like a great way to help get down the fundamentals and have some fun without going home broke

I have done something like that as well. It is great being abel to play for trivial things instead of money. I am nt a huge drinker of alcohol so I would have to stick to soda as well.

If drinks are not your thing, I would also suggest playing for little pieces of candy. Just find bite size pieces of candy and have those represent the chips and certain types be worth more than others.
