Who taught you to play poker? Or did you learn through tutorials or some other method like that?

I'm still learning. My husband has been trying to teach me for a while now. I just don't get the hang of some things yet...I'll get there.

I learnt it from my cousin of course even I am in the process of learning but I do play. Mostly it is through online sites through which I learnt more how to play well and some tips to play.

My dad taught me how to play when I was a teenager. I also bought a book to better my skills. Dad and I always enjoyed playing any card game together.

My friends taught me how to play. They would always play every so often so one day theya sked me if I knew how. I said no so they let me go over and taught me the basics. I been stealing their money at poker ever since.

When I was a kid i watched my grandmother play and she taught me some of the basic stuff. When I later started playing for fun with friends I learned the rest a long the way. I am still learning today though because you got to stay sharp in this game. There are a lot of great online tutorials.

My boyfriend has actually been teaching me for the last month or so, so I am still learning. I am have a pretty basic knowledge right now.

I learn the basic rules and was introduced to the game when my friends decided to play poker and taught me how to play. Years later I discovered professional tournaments being broadcast TV. I decided to try a few poker software and eventually gained most of my knowledge through various articles and books

I am learning on my own, and I wish that I had someone who could show me how to play as I am sure that I would being able to understand it faster.
