I learned by playing with my friends. After that I have studied online and read some books.

I originally learned how to play Texas Hold Em by watching it on television. later I decided to teach myself how to play other forms of poker by watching other people play and using some common sense. Must of my success has come from watching it on television though.

My friend taught me while on a plane. We were bored and some of the guys were playing so I joined in.

This seems to be a different way of learning. On a plane sounds really exciting. I never got a chance to play when on plane. I usually travel alone and I can't ask someone unknown to play with me.

I can't remember who has taught me to play poker. As I remember, I already knew how to play it, at an early age. It seems to come so natural.

It does come naturally for many a young player. You just catch on quickly and the rest becomes history.

By trial and lots of errors at the play money tables at party poker in the beginning. Then I branched to different poker sites and am still learning, but I'm better than I used to be.
