Stud or Draw

Just a quickie, if you were starting out again on the long road, which do you think would be the better tool for you learn moving forwrard, stud or draw - I personally beelive stud as the easier game and therefore the point to start from

I think it really depends on the person and what exposure they have had to poker. You are right that stud might be easier for some, but for others I am not sure that is the case.

Stud is certainly an easier game. If you are new to playing poker of any kind then Stud is a good place to start. You should be able to catch on fairly quickly.

You'd like the Stud. It's easier to understand and to get along with. But the choice differs for each person.

Stud is the most easy game but many in my friends circle wish to go for something not that easy. The views or the interest of a person varies from one another. I do like it though.

I would suggest draw, it may not be as easy as stud, but it gets you some good habits and concepts on how to play real poker.

I've always been a much bigger fan of draw, but that may be because I was introduced to it first, so stud seemed more difficult because I wasn't really used to it
