How many variations?
As someone who is just starting it out, I would like to know I have heard that there are many variations in the game of Poker, for example - Draw Poker. Which are the other ones?

You have five card stud, texas holdem, Omaha and Midnight Baseball. There really are quite a few. Those are just off the top of my head.

I believe that Texas Hold'em was voted the most popular and most played variation of Poker. I might be wrong though.

I think in general and probably both. The other styles are not non-existant, Texas Hold Em is just much more played.

Yes, it seems that Texas Holdem seems to be one of the most popular now. I can remember a time when it wasn't though. I think the younger generation caught on to it and that is one of the reasons it is now so popular.

Texas Hold 'em is my personalyfavourite as well. I got hooked to it when watching the WSP a few years back and have started to play with my friends. It is so much fun. Besides that blackjack is okay but not very entertaining.

I won't play anything else other than texas hold em. I learnd how to play that before I play any other form of poker.

Blackjack is when you get dealt two cards and you have to decide to stay or take a hit (get another card). If you choose to hit then you are given another card. If you end up going over 21 then you bust and lose. Once everybody has decided to stay then the game is over. Whoever is closest to 21 wins.
