I've heard some of my guy friends say that sometimes your cards get reflected on the lens of your sunglasses. If this is true, the strategy is utterly doomed for sure...

I agree with this statement. The eyes are the most expressive part in a human body. I am also a newbie to this what we call poker. I am still learning and want to learn more. I enjoyed watching those people who knows how to play it. My colleague plays poker in his mobile phone.

I do not last very long either in watching poker on tv as I tend to get a little bored. I think that I would enjoy it more if I am playing the actual game itself.
