I wouldn't do it, but I know people who try to play Poker for a living; albeit it is indeed doable, you need to expect a whole lot of fluctuation.

I think everyone wants to win all the time, thats the goal that we all head to the table with but you have to understand that it's not going to happen, no matter how good you are.

I think that big money is not the rule of the game you just need to find exactly where the game is going on because once you find out this you can definitely be in a win win situation

It certainly is not a rule of poker. It is just the goal. The goal of any poker game is to win. Unless you are one of those believers of "as long as you had fun and tried your best then that is all that matters." But anyways you want to win and often money or sometime of prize is involved.

It is really interesting to know that people try to play Poker for a living. That means it is possible to make a living out of this game. But I think as Slashmire has already pointed out, one should then be ready to expect some ups and downs also.

I think it will take me awhile to grow with that. I have growing by a few dollars at a time.

Just take your time and go at your own pace. Playing with money is a serious thing so you need to just be careful.

I wouldn't bet a huge sum of money. What if you loose?
We can't win every time we play. There is a reason why it is call a game. It is just a past time, most people who tries to win more ends up with nothing. I won’t recommend it for anyone. Even if I have millions I won’t let it went to drain just on one day.

Very true. That is my exact same thinking on this topic. Just because I have money does not mean I am going to risk money. I cannot afford to lose all that I have.
