Tipping Dealers

I was wondering is it common practice to tip the dealer and if so how much should you give to the dealer? Thanks.

I dont think its common practice to tip the dealer its only if you want to!
Pretty much the same when going for meals etc you only give a tip if your happy!
Maybe for different people they have other views I dont know!

I don't tip until and unless I am happy with the service in a restaurant. It works in similar way where ever it is concerned and not limited to just restaurant.

Thats exactly how I think also!
Just because you give the dealer a tip doesnt mean your going to win!
Well in the legit casinos lol all depends how big your tip is haha!

I've never actually tipped a dealer, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone else do it either. I guess we like to give our money to the house in the traditional way - just lose it!

I really didn't think it would help you to win. Just wasn't to sure if it was a common practice. Personally I think they get quite a bit of my money when I play.

I knew a guy who dealt poker in Atlantic City, with how much money they make I don't think you really need to tip them anyway

Is there any amount in particular that you would tip, if you are into tipping a dealer?? In a restaurant my husband generally prefers to give in a minimum of 3 or max 5 depending on the service received. If it is in casino how much would it be from your part??

I have no clue what you would tip amount wise? I had no idea that dealers made a lot of money? I wonder what they do make a year?

I never tip the dealer. I see no point in doing so. They already get paid a decent amount for the work they do. I will only tip if I win a massive hand.
