How much money do you put away for poker and gambling each month? And are you more often turning out with more money in the end of the month? or the other way?

I do not do a whole lot of gambling. If I was going to a casino, I would of course take some money with me but only enough to keep me from spending too much.

I have to drive quite a distance to gamble, so I don't do much. I don't set an amount back per month...I just take a chunk out of the bank when I go.

I pretty much break even when I go. Most of the time I will end up a couple of dollars ahead. My husband and I set back at least $50 a month for leisure.

I don't set back a certain amount either. When I am ready to gamble I just decide then and there, but I do make sure I have enough money to where if it was lost it would be o.k.

It's only when I happen to go to the casino near by that I take some money along to spend otherwise I don't generally put some amount aside only for gambling.

When I go gambling it is taken out of the vacation savings we have. Whatever we win gets put back in, so it works well.

When I started playing I did use some of my "for fun" money. After a while my winnings was enough to keep this hobby alive without touching any of my private money.

I do not set away a certain amount of money but I have a "pot" I use which contains mostly of winnings from the past that I have managed to grow or at least keep at the same level mot of the time.

The money I use is usually the money I have left over from purchases. (Also known as change) Or if I had planned on tipping a server, but got terrible service, I go home and put the few bucks into money I can use for poker.

Sometimes I play the lottery and whatever I win there is sent straight to the jar I keep for poker money. So basically my money for poker comes from odd and end sources.
