How Poker Players are treated?
There was once a time when Poker Players were treated as social deviants...Do they are still treated in the same way...Do the professional Poker Players are given respect in the society as same as others?

I think they are more accepted these days. Ever since ESPN started showing the world series of poker on television, poker has spread to many people. It is largely accepted by the majority with a moderate sense of opinions.

Of course, they're not treated as football players, but a lot has changed throughout the years. Not only the ESPN begun to show the world series, but many other channels making poker spread througout the world. I've been interested in poker after the first time I've seen the world series on Eurosport I think.

I think poker players are not looked down upon if they are professional. They might not be idolized though but I dont think anyone is against them.

I am not sure whether they are respected the way other game players are but these days it is different and there surely is respect for people who are winners of the poker games too. Check out:
