So has anyone on here ever been cheated on any of the online poker sites? Or do you have some that you would say to stay away from? Thanks

I personally never have. Before joining or playing at any online site you should just do a google search on the page to see if any suspicious pages come in. If you find others complaining then you should probably stay away.

Before playing in any unknown site, i would prefer to read a review of the site by google search. There are really fraudulent sites hanging around....

That is good advice for sure and I wish everyone woul do it to avoid these scammers. I have never been cheated myself, at least not in a poker site.

I have been cheated at other things so it is just a practice that I took on. In the end I have probably avoided scams a dozen different times by researching the site first.

All I can say is stay away from the Yahoo Poker site. You aren't losing any money or anything but there is cheating by the abundance. I personally think cheating takes the fun right out of the game, and I truly believe in Karma. If you cheat, something is going to happen where you are going to get cheated right out of your money the way you cheated to get it .

Google is everyones best friend. That is how I avoid these thing. Just like the rest of you. The problem is that the Internet have a lot of "newbies" and it is often those who get scammed.

No I cannot say I have ever been cheated online. I think a good thing to do is ask around especially at sites like this one and similar to find out if there are any sites where people have been cheated.
