I am not sure how you would get around it. I mean we cannot use neteller or paypal anymore. So I am not to sure how you would get around it.

The discussion about playing on sites based in other countries reminds me of the foreign sites trying to get around RIAA digital rights. Those sites were very dodgy and kept going down, from what I've read in music forums.
Did the US make online poker illegal because of concerns for underage gambling?

They made it illegal because gambling is illegal in the first place. To be allowed to open a casino you have to go through a bunch of legal paper work and nonsense. Where I live there is a casino that got around a lot of it by simply putting it on a boat instead of on land.

Exactly. Lotto can be even more dangerous than poker in the long run! Poker at least is fun and is a social activity. Lotto is just plain... blind hope if you keep on holding on to it. I'm absolutely against the ban.
