What's there in a deal?

I have heard few people saying that the Deal is important. Is Deal really important? I don't think so because it must be like 'as it comes'. It would definitely be nice to get your views.

I believe that Deal making is an important skill in poker, and crucial to your final table strategy...For me the best deal making strategy that we can use is to "play hard to get." If one is interested in making money by playing poker then they should definitely place a "deal"!!!

The deal is when you decide whether to play the hand or sit the game out. It is where you decide whether or not you want to commit money to that hand. Sure most of poker is a "see what happens" type game but the deal is where it all gets started.

Deal

I think it should be like when it comes because that actually creates the situation as you never know what will happen next this is absolutely "when it comes".

Great to know about your views. As mcgrath has said "deal making is important", I think we need to understand more on that because I feel it gives one the edge as a player.
