I have no plans to upgrade to BluRay or HD DVD formats any time soon.

Has anyone else here got the newer formats, and do you think they're worth it?

I don't as of yet but I will probably go towards the HDTV first. Isn't that what all the stations are going to now?

I am thinking about an HDTV. They look nice but I do not think the quality is really worth all the extra money. I am hoping the prices will drop soon.

I have not yet upgraded yet, maybe in the future. We should all upgrade because the software keeps updating all the time and new features added. As updating takes place, the more space is needed.

I believe I just heard this morning that Sony is going to have all their movies now in Blue Ray format. That they would not be making anymore HD formated ones. Did anyone else happen to hear that on the news today?
