Shrek the Third

We saw this in the movies, and then bought it for Christmas. I liked it well enough to buy it, but it just seems like there is something missing from the 3rd in comparison to the first two. I think my favorite will always be the 1st one.

That's the problem with sequels. Most of the time they don't top the first one. The second one went pretty well but I think it would have been better if they stopped after that.

First one was totally different and new so it worked well and I liked it a lot. Second one was good enough and was taken up well but still I liked first over second. I couldn't get a chance to watch the third part, so no comments on it.

I never liked any of them at all. Then again, I am above the age of ten. Sadly, people always ask if someone at my age likes the movies, and I am like, "Are you kidding me? You saw it?"

Animated movies aren't only for children, as some of the references in them demonstrate. How did you determine that you didn't like them? You imply that you didn't see them.

As for Shrek The Third, has anybody heard any more about Eric Idle's problem with the obvious Monty Python "homage" to the coconut shell and horse's hooves gag?

I saw number one because I was younger at the time. Then I saw number three over and over and over again because at my job they had it playing on every single one of their television sets all day long. I can not stand those movies!

Sorry to hear you were stuck at work with a movie playing that you hated.

I guess most of us never get stuck in a situation like that.

I love animated movies. I am glad to because with two young sons that is what we tend to watch a lot of. I have seen this one and as much as I did like it I would agree that it wasn't as good as the first one.

I finally got to watch Shrek third today. I liked it, especially kids of Shrek. I like all the 3 parts of the movie. Animated movies are always my favorite. I feel age doesn't matter to watch these movies, it is for everyone to watch.
