With the advance of technology, films are always available on DVDs and videos but I still find myself going to the cinema to enjoy the full scale film experience. What about you?

I have been to about 3 movies in the last 4 years. I am just not a big fan of watching movies. I do not have the time to sit around and watch them. The last movie I saw was Saw 3 and that was a mistake...

I haven't seen any of the Saw series but from what I hear, it's horrible. It sounds like a film only for the hardcore horror fans...

Not really horror but the films are really for people that are sadists. I have no idea why people are entertained by watching people getting tortured.

I have seen the first Saw movie but have yet to see the other ones. I don't go to the movies all that much. I just find it somewhat to exspensive. I do take the boys from time to time because they really like to go but that is about it.

I agree with you...watching the movie on a big screen with digital sound effects and ofcourse with a popcorn packet in my hand...mmm...I love it!!!

You can't beat that! Especially if you're watching an action movie, a thriller, or anything that uses a lot of special effects, the sound system and size of the screen are critical to your movie experience. You can never get the same feeling with a home theater, although it's probably the closest you can get.

I haven't gone to the movies in a long time. It seems like such a waste of money anymore. Prices are so overinflated. Usually, I am the unfortunate one to sit in a seat and have a latecomer who is so tall they block the view. It completely ruins the experience. I just Netflix now with my own surround sound.

I still like to go out to watch movies. I like to see what all the buzz is about when people are raving about certain movies.

I'm all about the staying home thing now. I’m a huge Netflix fan and have been for years. I think I saw one movie this year in a theater. I just don’t like dealing with noisy children or sticky floors or people sitting close to you with hygiene issues. Let me watch the movie in the comfort of my home. I have a big screen and a great sound system and microwave popcorn so it’s almost the same anyway.
