Clinton '08

If she were to get the Democratic nomination would any of you here seriously consider voting for her? I hope to god that she is not elected president of the United States.

NO! Simply put she is not a good role model in my opinion. I cannot stand a man who cheats and a women who puts up with it. Now I believe in standing by your man to a certain degree, but not when he is doing something that he took advantage of to begin with. She acts as though nothing is wrong with it and that their little happy life goes on.

She certainly knows what she is doing. She turned an affair into something that boosted her own ratings and popularity. Makes her seem like an honest and forgiving person by saying it is all okay.

I do not like the fact that within 5 minutes of one debate she changed her position a couple of times. She does this often just to make everybody happy. In the end she will have to pick one side though.

Unless she runs against Ron Paul on the Republican side, yes, I would vote for her. All confusion and talk aside, she is a smart woman who I trust will restore at least some semblance of order to this country upon entering the White House.

Ron Paul is also ridiculous. I like his idea of returning to the founding principals of the Constitution. But when you get down to all of his ideas to do so that is when things get out of hand. He basically wants most our laws removed and he wants to turn America into a weak nation. In today's world his ideas would not work.

And Hillary is far from trustworthy. She flip flops on views. She plans questions in the audience. She wants to turn America socialist. And she plays the victim to gain popularity.

As far as the primaries are concerned, Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate I would even consider listening to. The Democrats are trickier, but I'd say it's between Clinton, Obama and Biden, at least for me. So who would you vote for (either Republican or Democrat)?

I would vote for a Republican. Obama is weak on national security and domestic ideas. Clinton is socialist. Edwards...well we know all about him from his John Kerry bid. Dennis is as crazy as they come. For the Republicans I would like to see Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson.

I hate the fact that the term socialism is taboo in the States. It probably rings a different bell here than in Europe, because many EU nations work on at least a little bit of socialistic agenda. But to get back to the point, I would never vote for Romney or Giuliani. I'm not affiliated with any party but right now we really do need a Democrat in the White House. Things have gone too far for us to risk anything.

America is supposed to be a nation built on capitalism. That is why socialist programs are looked down upon. That is why the word socialist is taboo. Clinton wants to put us all under a government health care. Most people do not even know what that means. They just heare "free health care" and decide it is good. In reality there is nothing good about it. Look at Britain where the health system is ran by the government. Look anywhere in the world where that exists. Their health care is terrible. You always hear these stories of people coming to America for their health care. It is because we have one of the best in the world. People complain because it is exensive. If you get health insurance it isn't. So if anything maybe needs to be fixed it is the cost of insurance so everybody can afford it. But that actually isn't really a government problem. That is the problem for the individual. In America it is very easy to get ahead and make a living. Health care in reality does not need to be fixed.

As for needing a Democrat in office...why is that? So they can be weak on national security? So they can resort to diplomacy which history has shown fails time and time again? Democrats are defeatists. At least Republicans will fight for what is right and stay the course even when they have lame Liberal Senators yelling at them.
