When I was younger I used to go to my grandmother's apartment every Saturday night to stay over and spend some time with her. On Saturdays it was Bingo night so she would take me down and I would play Bingo with all the older people for a couple of hours. I remember how some of them got mad because they would lose to a 7 year old.

I started playing because my mom was going and it was something that we could do together. I found that I really enjoyed it. Winning helped though. I won a 100.00 the very first night I played.

I have only won about 6 dollars at one time. I play with my grandfather at his nursing home. And sadly 6 dollars is actually a big win for the night since there are only 1 dollar payoffs and the random spur of the moment 5 dollar rounds.

My father use to play bingo when I was a kid. I dont know how much did he won but sometime he comes home with a food on his hands. Sometimes he brings us home a pair of shirt or shoes. There are also some nights that he comes home empty handed.

They do things like that at my grandparents place as well. Instead of playing for money they sometimes give the winner a can of food or a prize basket made up of random things. Not very exciting to somebody like me but they get a kick out of it.

My grandfather is the one who introduced me this game...when i was 8. He used to buy and give candies whenever i win the game...

I tried it out with my friends mother and she convinced me it would be fun for which it was and I never stopped.

Well it started out with my grandmother at family picnics playing just for fun and prizes. Then, my mom would take my sister and I out when we were little also, but this time for money. It was so much fun with her. It was like our "girls night".

Wow, I haven't played Bingo in some time now. I started playing at my grandparents house. It was a tradition.

When I was a kid I go with my sister playing bingo in her friends’ house. There are lots of them. I even help her marking those numbers in her cards.
