There is no question that luck is involved in the game of poker, however it definitely takes skill.

Someone who has 4-5 days of experience can beat a player with 4-5 years of experience, however the more they play the more the player with 4-5 years of experience will dominate.

What I'm saying is the better (more skilled) player will eventually win in the long run. So poker is both a game of chance and skill. A amateur probably has more luck in his game then a pro.
