I need to correct myself here but before I do that, I said we need a Democrat in the office because none of the Republican candidates who are currently running for office seems capable enough. But I have been looking at the profiles and doing some research, and I favor Ron Paul. He is way more reliable than the big Democratic leaders and he has got his Constitution down. He is what Republicans are supposed to be like... "a humble foreign policy, no nation building" (Bush's campaign phrases). You're right - Hillary's health care plan would probably not work, and Obama is too much of an idealist IMO. But anyone who wants to bring a different perspective on these candidates, please do so. It's good to discuss because we all want what's best for our countrym, don't we?
